John and I were travelling around and decided to stop at St David's Cemetery and do a geocache, which we wouldn't find. I saw this stone which of course caught my eye because the little guy was so young.
John William Mahon was born on Jun 28, 1905 to John William Sr and Innes Lowrey. His birth and death weren't registered until July 25th, by the attending Dr, and his name was not provided. The family lived on lot 5 Concession 5 in Nassagaweya Township (Kelso). John Sr was a farmer. His parents were married on Feb 26, 1902. He was their first child and they had a daughter Rachel Rebecca in November of the following year. She is also buried in St David's cemetery beside her husband Alexander Moore. Like her parents, she is buried with one of her children Margaret Evelyn, who died as an infant in 1931.
